| Installing an after market head unit in a Acura |
Step 1: Remove Trim around old stereo
Step 2: Insert a flat piece of metal in the space next to the head unit until you feel a click
Step 3: Use metal as a wedge and pry out old head unit gently
Step 4: Grab old head unit and remove from dash
Step 5: Disconnect wiring harness and antenna cable
Step 5: Cut the old head unit off of the wiring harness
Step 6: Strip the ends of the wires on the harness
Step 7: Crimp buttend spicers onto the exposed wires on the new aftermarket head unit
Step 8: Crimp the other end of the butt end splicers onto the
exposed wires on the wiring harness matching the colors
Step 9: Plug the wiring harness and antenna cable in and test
Step 10: Push new head unit into housing
Step 11: Replace trim
Step 12: Enjoy your new aftermarket head unit
